Opportunities in Federal NITRD High End Computing Interagency Working Group (HEC-IWG) Agencies
Primary Session Leader:Robert B. Bohn
Abstract: The U.S. Government continues to advance the infrastructure necessary to support high end computing now and in the future. This is evidenced by its continued investments into R&D of advanced architectures, upgrades to current systems, advanced languages, compilers, operating systems, file systems, advanced applications and algorithm development, performance tools and applied mathematical techniques for the handling of large complex data sets. Several NITRD agencies have programs in these areas and research opportunities. This talk will be given by federal representatives of these programs and will discuss the potential funding opportunities available.
